I saw a slogan on a guy’s car that said “Proud to be an American” and I thought “What the fuck does that mean?”
I’ve never understood national pride. I’ve never understood ethnic pride.
I’m Irish. All four of my grandparents were Irish, and when I was a kid I would go to the St Patrick’s Day parade and they sold a button that said “Proud to be Irish”, but I knew that on Columbus day they sold the same button only it said “Proud to be Italian”, then came Black Pride, and Puerto Rican Pride. And I could never understand ethnic or national pride, because to me Pride should be reserved for something you achieve or attain on your own, not something that happens by accident of birth.
Being Irish isn’t a skill. It’s a fucking genetic accident.
You wouldn’t say I’m proud to be 5’11”. You wouldn’t be proud to have a pre-disposition for colon cancer.

The cheapest form of pride however is national pride. Sophomore music education major Liam Hurlbut said he believes it is unfair for white students to have their own union.
“White power movements are illegitimate,” he said. “In the history of this country, whites never lost their power. They have always run this country and oppressed all other races. Even today whites have unearned ‘privileges’ in our society. Whites must recognize and reject this privileges to atone for the evils of our ancestors.”
Guilt and pride are opposites. The more time and energy you expend feeling guilty, the less you can feel pride, and at the same time, the more pride you feel, the less inclined you will be to accept guilt. Attacking White pride, in effect, helps inflict White guilt.
Pride arising from a satisfied sense of attachment toward one’s own kind and fulfilled feeling of belonging is perfectly normal and natural, even for Whites.

If I were in college today, I would be head over heels about a White student union. I’d be in it all the time, we’d play chess, we’d have music, we’d have parties, we’d be ourselves, AND, we’d be activists. Great ep, Tan.
I had a wacky idea earlier today. I think there may be a few trolls about. You know, people who try to slant a discussion just a bit, to keep progress from happening. Usually these will be either Jews or people who are asleep in the Jews. Well, it might be fun to include in the comment area a checkbox requiring commentators to assent to something like: “I hereby affirm that the systematic killing of Jews alleged to occur during World War II is a myth and a lie, and that the Jews themselves perpetrated this lie, to the great detriment of the White race.” Imagine the poor interloper, having to check something against his conscience all the time! lol Well, even that probably wouldn’t stop them.
I was reminded of this fun idea by the notion of the White student union. Their big problem will be Jews, even if they don’t know it. Jews look like us (to some extent) but have no loyalty to us.
Carl, I like the way you think. I’d phrase it, “Checking this box signifies that I accept and abide the 14 Words: We must secure the existence of our people and a future for White children.”

On the subject of discussion, I have one other observation. I think it is important not to waste the hosts’ time. It is a huge amount of work to research, and to be an ongoing serious student (i.e. one who studies, not merely one who is enrolled somewhere). And to produce a show, and to stay in the flow of all the facts and important ideas. So always remember, anything that sidetracks the hosts makes it harder for them to do that most important thing: make great shows. Shows are what influence. Shows are downloaded and played. Comments are useful to an extent, but not when they become a distraction. $0.02.

But on reflection, what is actually wrong with that? Isn’t it natural that the vast majority of any ethnic group consists of unremarkable people? No great scientists, artists, philosophers or statesmen, just ordinary folk? But being proud of owne’s own group means being proud of its greatest achievements and being inspired by its greatest men and I think that is a positive thing.In this way the masses are lifted upon a higher plane than their daily existence. Since man is a social being and gifted individuals are far and between, this is the mechanism by which the masses evolve.
As for White Pride being frowned upon, while any other ethnic pride is actively encouraged, that is the typical double standard that is part and parcel of “anti-racism” which is only code for “anti-white”.
Anti-White activism is not an attempt to curb socalled white “racism” or “supremacism” ( which hardly exist anymore), not even to rectify historical wrongs, it is aimed at the dispossession and eventual genocide of Whites themselves. Reason the more for Whites to insist on the right of White Pride, Jews, cultural Marxists and non-Whites suffering from inferiority complexes be damned.
The advantage of White Pride of course is that it can be based on substantial claims. While other races such as Blacks have to resort to fictitious claims such as “Black inventions” or that the ancient Egyptians were Black, Whites don’t need such capers : nearly 90% of the world’s civilizations were created by Whites.

Being proud of your children (immediate family) is not too different from being proud of your people (extended family) in an evolutionary sense. It’s entirely normal, adaptive and moral.

I think that in a small way, the little people are justifiably proud of their race, because the same traits that produce the greats are evident in the more average members. And there is furthermore a natural empathy that exists, in healthy people, among the various groups. I have no affinity for an Indian basket-weaver, but a White craftsman is my kin, whether I am a high- or low-achiever. For example, I have seen a craftsman create a replacement for a door part. He might as well be stroking an antique violin before an audience. So the little people needn’t fear that they are merely taking refuge in their betters. They share in the traits that make us all. 🙂
Incidentally, I was half-kidding about having a checkbox to weed out some nincompoops. Who knows, it might work! But, pursuant to that notion, I have had a second thought about using the 14 words. You see, the Jew, who is very sly, will surely agree. “Sure,” he’d say, “let’s have the White race survive. Where else am I going to get nice White women to plunder? And they do such great work! Let’s see, we’ll let them live in northern Russia and Siberia.” (See the NYT today for a video clip about would-be models flocking to Siberia from along the railway lines, looking for a better life.) And so you see, the 14 words would please the Jew only too much. No, only a patent rejection of the “Holocaust”– and not giving it that name either because many mass-killings have occurred, and we were the victims–only a patent rejection of the Holohoax will truly violate their consciences. Not that this will really keep them out! lol But in general, I regard the rejection of the Holohoax as the true beginning of insight, the start of wisdom, a clean awakening underway. Franklin, I believe your 'reflection' is of absolute importance in the understanding of what is going on in this world. We can look at any issue and see it positively or negatively, and that is why Jewish ownership of the media is so criminal. You simply took the Schopenhauer quote and merely stated the obvious (as in the emperor has no clothes) and properly refuted his negative perception and put it into a positive!
I believe one of our founding fathers also had a similar quote concerning nationalists being scoundrels, and they were before Schopenhauer. And anyone reading about Schopenhauer can see that he was a truly negative person. In no way would he be a leader of men.
If he is the epitome of an articulate intellectual, I am proudly a scoundrel.

An excellent, excellent point; this statement alone carries the power (i.e. plain common sense) to silence those anti-whites against our cause for European survival & perpetuation.
The multi-culturalist viewpoint is gradually running out of oxygen. What can only come next is a new pan-European breath.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the greats were just a little bit peevish about their own incompetence in the crafts. Crafts are much harder than they look! Just try to acquire one!!
